Foundation Grants Received

(Fall, 2003)

San Francisco Beautiful has been very fortunate this year in obtaining foundation funding.  Our Billboard Program received a $10,000 grant from the David B. Gold Foundation, ensuring our continued work at watchdogging the implementation of Prop G, the No New Billboards initiative.  The Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund awarded SFB $10,000 to further our work with the S.F. Green Schoolyard Alliance to create a culture of support and stewardship for outdoor learning environments in San Francisco schools.  In addition, the Koret Foundation granted $10,000 to our General Operating Fund thus furthering our ability to produce high quality work.  We thank the Gold and Koret Foundations and the Goldman Fund for their support.
